When architect Cordula Rau was asked 'why do architects actually wear black?' she had an idea for a small book and proceeded to ask a host of architects, designers and draftsman the same question. She has collected their responses - amusing, programmatic or hair-s plitting - in a collection of handwritten A6-format notebooks.
